What is the 121 Checkout Challenge?
You start on a chosen checkout, normally 121, and get up to nine darts to finish on a double. A successful finish moves the target up. A miss either repeats the target or moves it down, depending on the selected mode.
Three ways to run the challenge
Classic
Finish the checkout to move up one. Miss it and repeat the same number.
Progressive
Move up after a successful finish and down after a failed attempt, without going below the chosen minimum.
Challenge
Build successes at the current level while repeated misses can push the target back.
A useful way to practise 121
- Plan the first visit. Know what you want to leave after one, two and three darts.
- Record the actual segment. Ocheflow can then apply bust and double-out logic instead of accepting only a visit total.
- Keep the route help on while learning. Turn it off later to test recall under pressure.
- Review the miss. Separate poor scoring from poor setup and a missed final double.

121 Checkout tips
- Do not chase the same treble blindly after a blocker or a large miss.
- Use routes that leave a double you are prepared to practise repeatedly.
- Track whether you are reaching a double at all; checkout percentage alone can hide setup problems.
- Run the same mode for several sessions before comparing results.
One-screen gameplay: the active target, remaining score, nine dart positions, route, multiplier controls, board numbers and Undo stay available together on supported phone, tablet and laptop layouts.
