Privacy policy

Ocheflow works without a mandatory account. Match and Training Center data is stored locally in your browser and is not sent as a complete history to an Ocheflow server.

Information stored in your browser

Ocheflow uses browser local storage to remember information needed for the scorer. Depending on how you use the app, this can include:

• player names and match setup choices;
• sound and score-entry preferences;
• an active Local Match, Solo Practice session or Dartbot match;
• recent results and game statistics;
• the information required to resume a saved session.
• Training Center preferences, active and completed exercise sessions, Catch 40 out-by-out attempts and points, shared doubles-runtime data, program progress, weekly goals, personal bests and local training history;

This data normally stays inside the browser profile and device where it was created. Ocheflow does not currently provide an account or automatic cloud synchronisation.

Backup, restore and device transfer

The scorer can create a JSON backup containing your locally stored Ocheflow data. The backup is generated in your browser and only leaves the browser when you choose to download, store or transfer the file.

When you restore a backup, Ocheflow validates the file before replacing local data. The interface requires a separate safety-backup step before restore or deletion. You remain responsible for where downloaded backup files are stored and with whom they are shared.

Deleting local data

Open Data & backup in the scorer to download a backup, restore a backup or clear Ocheflow data from the current browser. Clearing site data through your browser settings can also remove the stored information.

Contact and feedback

Ocheflow does not include an on-site contact form in this release. Email links open your own mail application. Information you choose to send by email is processed by the email services used by you and by Ocheflow so the message can be received, answered and used to investigate a problem or suggestion.

Do not include passwords, payment information, health information or other sensitive personal data in a feedback message or backup attachment.

Beta diagnostics and local error log

During the closed-beta preparation, Ocheflow stores a small sanitized technical error log in local browser storage. It can contain the error category, a shortened error message, the Ocheflow file path, line number and timestamp. Email addresses, query parameters, long identifying numbers, player names, exact scores and match history are not intentionally recorded.

The log is not uploaded automatically. You can review it on the Beta Feedback page, clear it at any time, or explicitly copy or download a diagnostic report. A report contains device category, viewport size, browser and operating-system family, accessibility preferences, storage totals, app version and the sanitized error log.

You decide whether to send a feedback email and whether to attach the downloaded report.

Analytics and advertising

Ocheflow contains a privacy-first analytics foundation, but the production identifiers are intentionally not connected in V1.36.4. This release therefore sends no analytics data to Cloudflare Web Analytics or Google Analytics 4.

When analytics is activated for the closed beta, Ocheflow will use explicit optional consent. Google Analytics will follow Basic Consent Mode: the Google tag is not loaded and no data is sent before consent is granted. Refusing analytics does not limit scoring, training, backups or any other Ocheflow feature.

The product event allowlist excludes player names, email addresses, exact scores, dart-by-dart history, feedback text and backup contents. Ocheflow does not use advertising analytics or personalized advertising signals.

Hosting and external fonts

The hosting provider may process standard technical request information—such as IP address, browser information, requested URLs and timestamps—to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website.

Ocheflow does not load Google Fonts or another external font stylesheet in this build. The interface uses system font fallbacks and locally served Ocheflow assets.

Future product changes

This policy will be updated before Ocheflow introduces accounts, cloud storage, online multiplayer, advertising, additional analytics or another feature that changes how information is processed.
